Needing a somewhat organized way to store my Copic markers and being unable to stomach the prices on what Copic offers for storage I was forced toward a little ingenuity. I started with my trusty ramen noodle box (Maruchan 12 pack) just covering it with various papers. I covered it inside and out which was probably unnecessary since you can't really see the inside once it's filled with markers. I put partitions inside to make six square slots. I found that didn't really hold my markers in an upright enough position so I started saving toilet paper rolls. That made it perfect. Three or four toilet paper rolls inside each partition and my markers are stored just the way I like them. It's really handy to have your Rs and RVs and Ys and YGs, etc. grouped together. I actually use my Copic color chart to choose a color then go to my markers to find the corresponding letter/number combo so it's extremely helpful for mine to be grouped together properly.
I've rescheduled my Copic Marker class at Paper Crown in Oklahoma City to Saturday, September 17 in hopes that the heat will have toned down a bit. I also plan to have a new vintage wallpaper pack listed tonight or tomorrow. I will update the blog when it's listed. Here are a few pictures of the Copic storage.
