I've really been working diligently to get my art/craft room completely cleaned out.....as most of you know by my continued destashing over the past 6 months. It has only been over the past few weeks that I have begun really see the progress. Not quite but almost everyting I own has a place. I can easily access all items and easily put them away when I'm finished. Such a nice feeling and so helpful in keeping one's focus. I did an inchie class project last year which turned out quite cute so I thought I would make up kits for the last 6 vintage frames I have. You might remember the project.
If you're interested, you can find the kits here. I'm also down to one SCRAP PACK. I honestly think I've unearthed all my scraps at this point. It will probably be awhile before I have more scrap packs.
The next thing I have stacks and stacks of are magazines. I just cannot bring myself to throw them to recycling. I always think I'm going to make collages out of the the inspiring pages. I rarely ever get around to that so I thought I would see if I could upcycle (I think that's the right word) them in some way. I've been making journals and handmade pattern papers. It is so dang rewarding. Here are a couple of journal snippits. I'll have more to show soon.
You can't believe how sturdy these pages are and how cool they look. Lots of fun but I'm afraid I will still have to send tons of magazines to the recycle bin:)
