I've finished the Inchies of Love class project but I need to talk to Cindy before announcing a date. She won't have the schedule at home so I'll call the store tomorrow to firm up the date. I'm going for April because I think March is too booked at this point. I can't get a very good picture of the full frame because I don't have a decent camera so use your imagination. I like these frame things we are altering because you can set them on a table top or hang them. I've had this on my desk and it looks great.
Shelley asked me to draw roses on one of the inchies so I will do that for each person in the class. They are very easy to draw; I will show you how:)
Here is a little journal I've been adding pages to here and there. I have about 4 different journals going at all times I choose the journal based on what kind of page I want to make. If it's a heavily painted page I go with the journals I make out of watercolor paper. If it's collage I use any old cheap-o paper journal. I cut the paper in this little journal the size of a bingo card because I wanted to use those cards for the front and back covers. For a change I like 3-hole punch binding because I can work on the pages individually outside the journal, but I also like working inside a bound journals. It all depends on my mood:)
The cover contains some of my favorite stuff. Paint chips and embroidery.
Using scraps that were surrounding me at the time.
Sometimes I just want to draw and color. I was clearly in a pastel mood for this page.
I love using this old silhouette of my mother done back in the 40s. Isn't it pretty? I made the prettiest little cameo charm out of this silhouette and some epoxy. I'll show that technique in a class sometime. Don't let me forget. It makes a great piece of personalized jewelry.
I'm still listing things on ebay and in my etsy shop. I've decided to sell all the flocked mini rolls I have hanging around here already cut at half price. As of now I've decided I will no longer be selling paper in the mini roll form so this will be the last of it. I've learned to never say never and I might do a mini roll selection on holidays if I can put together perfect color combos, but overall I think it's time for a change.
I'm progressing very nicely with my destash. I'm feeling so much better. I figure in one more week things will be very near perfect in this little craft room. I will show some photos soon:) xox.
