Thanks to your sweet encouragement I'm no longer scared to post my comment nakedly, er, publicly.
I've been watching you create one fab brooch after another, thinking of all the vintage lace I've got no other use for...bits and baubles with sparkle... and a TUB of embroidery floss.
Recently I gleaned a vintage chenille robe for a measly .50 cents. (It's pink even!)
Turns out it has a bit of damage on the collar.
A few well-placed brooches (albeit "comfy" ones) would cover the flaws and look marvelous, I must say.
("It's cereal for supper tonight kids. Mom's making brooches.")
