I've been working on a small group of glittered frames to list in my etsy shop. I have no idea when I'll have them all complete, but I'll let you know. I've been moving a bit slow lately because I've come down with a bladder infection. I HATE them. I started with the symptoms last Thursday or so. I began slamming down cranberry juice and popping Uristat in hopes I could stave it off. Sometimes I can flush 'em right out, but not this time. I had to go to the doctor yesterday for an antibiotic. I'm hoping I'll awaken tomorrow feeling considerably better. Anyway, here's a picture of two of the frames I've finished. The photos are just for sample purposes or you could leave them if you like. They are 4x6. I'll be making four more of these frames and each one will be a bit different.
I'm also in the middle of cutting a bunch of vintage flocked wallpaper to put together some all flocked packs containing papers I've never sold before. I'm about half way on that endeavor so I'll keep you posted.
Now, I want to share a most fabulous Christmas gift I received. I've been a member of an MSN group for several years now. We all met on the stamping board at Two Peas in a Bucket. I don't think any of of us post over there any more and probably no longer know anyone who does, but back in the good ole' days everybody knew everybody just like a small town. It was fun and some great, long term friendships were made. Anyway, every year we do a Secret Sister swap at Christmas. This year Carolyn Schinstock sent to me. She sent lots of fun scrapbook supplies. Love those Cosmo Cricket chipboard letters. The box also contains lots of cool shapes. Love it all, but the handmade item she made brought tears to my eyes. It's so fabulous. Beautifully constructed using Basic Grey my all time favorite. I can't wait to add photos of our family Christmas this year. I will treasure it forever. I know you all know how special handmade gifts are. I can look at this piece and see all the labor that went into it and I know it was a labor of love. Each of us labors in what we do out of love. Love for our craft and love for the process of giving. That's why we all sign up to work our butts off on swaps. We push ourselves to be better at our craft and we get the reward of sharing our labors with others. Others who will treasure and appreciate all the love that went into it.
Carolyn I hope I've in some way conveyed to you how much this album means to me. Thank you so very much. I shall always treasure it just as I treasure all the friendships in our little group. It's a great group. Comfortable and familiar where understanding abounds and friendship is the cornerstone.
Happy New Year to everyone out there in blogland!!!

Happy New Year!
For future reference, you can get a product over the counter at Walgreens (I can't seem to find it anywhere else) called Cystex. It has an antibiotic in it, and it works wonders for the bladder problem. Whenever I feel one coming I just take 2 of those for a day, and viola! no problem.
I do hope it clears up fast for you.

Hi Donna
Happy New Year! I hope you're feeling better.
I've had to clean up the drool after looking at the last few posts. Your glitter frames, the Basic Grey book you received, the Christmas topper swap. Everything is so beautiful.
Thanks for sharing
