Okay. I've got it all ironed out. You have until Friday, November 2 to sign up for the Vintage Tree Topper Swap. I will put you with a partner by Monday, November 5 and the deadline for mailing the finished tree topper will be Friday, December 7. If you have a problem meeting that deadline, just let your partner know. I'm sure everyone can be flexible. The tree topper does not have to be a cone like the one I posted a while back. It can be a star, an angel (wouldn't that be nice with a crepe paper dress) or anything else you can dream up. It should be made of vintage materials or vintage-like materials. You may communicate with your partner to get an idea of their color preferences and tastes. If I come up with any cool ideas for tree toppers I will share them here. I'm looking forward to this swap. I think it will be great fun. At this point we have 26 very talented girls signed up. Again, if you would like to join, you can either leave a comment on this post or email me by Friday, November 2. If you wish you can display this blog button on your blog:
We've been quite busy over the past week and I haven't had much time for art. What little time I had was spent in a sort of confused state. I really need to get myself organized. Heather finally figured out she won the second vintage wallpaper drawing! I really wanted to toy with her a bit while I was waiting for her to see it on my blog, but I had too much going on. The only thing I've managed to do is finish up one "Merry" canvas that I posted the other day. Here it is complete. I had an inquiry today which I am about to answer so this one may be sold, but I plan to make quite a few of these for my etsy shop. I will make varying words and do different color combinations. Don't worry, I'll do plenty more in pink and aqua! I'm also thinking about a new wallpaper pack. I may wait til after Christmas to put one together. I'm not sure. I have only one of my regular wallpaper packs left in my etsy shop. Most of the papers from this pack will no longer be available. I believe I have 3 more of the all flocked packs if you are interested. If I can ever make my way over to see the selection of someone I've found here locally, I hope to have quite a few more patterns of flocked wallpaper for you. I sure could use a time management seminar!
I know I owe several people emails. I've got myself so confused that my inbox makes me scream and run! I've got 332 emails most of which, I'm sure, need deletion, but I still need to look through them carefully so I don't delete anything important. I'm hoping to have myself back in working order by the end of the week. Of course, I won't ever be fully functional; I'm just hoping for two thirds.
I wanted to make sure you have me signed up for your fab swap! Sounds like alot of fun! Thank you for organizing....Have a great week!!

LOL! toying with me would have been good because last week I was in the state you describe now. I spent a whole day "filing" job stuff, answering and deleting emails and generally "TRYING" to get organized. I am afraid I am with you on that, it'll never happen.
Looking forward to the tree topper swap and am going to pop over and add the button to my blog.
LOVE your MERRY Canvas.. can't wait to see more.
CHEERS!

Oooh I love the Christmas card, adorable! You must send me a copy of the card if you can. I can't tell what your favorite color(s) are from all the projects you do, however what are they :)
I'm sad I won't be able to participate in your swap, a Christmas Tree Topper sounds like loads of fun. Maybe I will have to try my hand at one later. I look forward to seeing all your posts from the others who participate.
