Remember those wicker paper plate holders back in the 70s or 80s? Well, I found a bag of wicker cup holders at the thrift store the other day. They are gold so they immediately struck me as something that could be made to look pretty. I always love the challenge of making something pretty of something that seems to be nothing but pretty ugly.
This girl started off to be something along the lines of a Thanksgiving theme. She obviously didn't end up looking the slightest bit Thanksgiving-ish, but I like her the way she is. I'm almost finished with a Halloween craft made with these little cup holders too. I'll post it tomorrow.
I want to alert you to one of our blog sisters who is also having a 100th post giveaway as I type. I'm new to her blog, but can tell she's obviously a much better blogger than me because it took her far less time to reach 100 posts than it took me. Be sure to visit her at eye-dyllic and sign up for her cool giveaway. You will also be helping her reach a personal goal of 100 comments!! I'd faint dead away if I ever had 100 comments!
Also, don't forget to leave a comment on this post if you want to be eligible to win my 100th post giveaway of 103 sheets of vintage wallpaper! If you're wondering why it's 103 sheets, you'll have to read the post. I'm thinking I probably better start cutting. Thanks to all of you who have stopped by. Your support really lifts my spirits!
You did good!!! ;)
