I made this covered comp book to send with the most recent collage I made for Rosanna. Jenny has photos of many of Rosanna's lovely collections on her blog, but I can't find the exact post. I'll scare it up and share it with you next time I update my blog. Rosanna, if you read this, I'm sorry to spoil the surprise, but I've got post something! Also, the glitter on these flowers is the "pure" pink glitter and it tarnishes just like the pure silver glitter does. The pink looks pretty cool tarnished. I like it. Also, see the German scrap "R"? Well, I won a fabulous lot of vintage German scrap letters on ebay. I'm talking hundreds of letters. This is the ONLY R. I've got plenty of every other letter in the alphabet except R. I'm so glad I had this one I could give to Rosanna.
I'm also updating my blog roll to include some wonderful blogs that are new to me and one that is just plain new. First of all, one of my long time internet friends, Lisa Renea, has finally started a blog. I am so pleased because she is truly one of my all time favorite artists and everyone should be seeing her wonderful work. Go visit her at The Tattered Tiara. I will have her link listed under my "friends who blog." I'm quite sure I'm totally behind the times with the next additions. I'm such a blogging dunce. You probably know all these blogs, but I've just found them and they are lovely. Delila at Sepia Art Studio who also sells wonderful things on etsy. Suzy, Miss Georgia Peach herself at Georgia Peachez does jaw-dropping stuff. The sweet and talented Kimla of Whimsy & Delight will blow your mind with her ribbons. Natasha Burns who can paint like you wouldn't believe and Speckled Egg whose name I do not know, but her talent will positively gobsmack* you. She also has a wonderful online shop which I purchased a few things from this morning. Also, Andrea Singarella has her new online shop open and it is fabulous. She carries that wonderful glue stick that I cannot spell and I'm pickled tink (a Barney Fife quote) that I can order from a blog sister instead of from a stranger! Go check out her beautiful new website at One Hundred Wishes.
*Gobsmack: My friend C.R.'s word for being totally blown off your feet by something! Since she refuses to do a blog I'll use her fabulous words. I mean how many times have you been gobsmacked by someone's work?? It's a great word isn't it?? Not terribly surprising since C.R. is a writer by profession and you would be positively gobsmacked by her writing!! Oh, the thrill of seeing an email come through from her.
Well Mildred, that cover is totally cool! I love it. What a list of blogs to visit...wow! You have certainly come across some wonderfully talented folks who share your amazing artistic gifts, each in different ways.
For those of you who are just getting to know my friend Mildred, don't be hurt when she dumps your blog for another, the sting goes away and you move on to do other posts with other reader's. Don't take it personally, afterall she knows everthing you would ever post about anything! :) right Mildred?

Hi Donna,
Thanks for stopping by and for your sweet comments about my work on your blog, (*blushing*!).
I absolutely ADORE what you have made for Rosanna, she will just love it! She is such a sweet lady to deal with, I have made some things for her too. She is one of those people who you can really have fun creating for.
That glitter is gorgeous, when you say 'pure' glitter, is taht glass glitter? I love that the pink tarnishes and I would love to get hold of tarnishing pink glitter! I do have pink glass glitter but can't imagine that tarnishing, lol!
Take care,
Natasha : )
