Thought I would check in and say hello and provide proof that I've been doing something. I'm trying to get things off my platter so I can give my full attention to the custom altered book I'm about to start. I've been diligently packing up the wallpaper orders. Thank you so much for your support. I know you will enjoy this pack. It's my best pack so far. I hope to keep making them better and better. I'm just about to wrap up availability on this particular pack. Some of the flocked papers in it will also be available in my next pack, but most all the other papers will retire. If you would like one of these packs, please visit my etsy shop. Here are the packs going out tomorrow. I almost had them out today, but wasn't ready to leave until 4:00 p.m. and the post office closes at 4:30 p.m. I could have made it before close, however, it's just bad manners in a small town to arrive at a business location 10 minutes before closing time. Unspoken rules of etiquette.
I also did a 10 minute craft. I've been using a Morton Salt container to hold my Aleene's Tacky Glue in a tip side down position. I've been meaning to cover it for a couple of months. I was straightening up the other day and decided I'd get it done. This wallpaper is the one I mentioned a while back that reminds me of the kitchen of my childhood. Before Mother redecorated in the late 70s. I'm totally in love with it. I actually have a roll and a half of it so I will probably put it in my next paper pack. The only bad thing about it is the roll is one of those wide rolls. About 27 inches. Makes it hard to cut because it's larger than my acrylic straight edge. I think I'll muddle through though so I can share some of this great paper.
Now, I need to empty one more Morton salt container so I'll have a place for my Aleene's Fast Grab glue. Which is, BTW, one of the greatest inventions of all time. It will take me forever to get another container because I almost always use Kosher salt. Too bad I never remember to ask any of my friends or family to save one for me.
Well, you just told the Universe you need empty salt containers, Mildred. Prepare for the RAK of a lifetime!! You'll have more salt containers than Carter has Liver pills.
Love the blue paper.

Never mind William---there are a million and one things to do with salt containers!! Until I saw that post, I was just going to pop over and say that I also love the quick grab glue, but find that my fingers get grabbed sometimes too and then I look like a dork trying to unstick myself!!

What a beautiful idea! I've been keeping my glue upside down in a jadite mug! Pretty, too!
