Seven Things

I've been tagged to tell you seven things about myself, but first, here are some photos of a collage I made using the vintage wallpaper and Bingo cards I have listed in my etsy shop.

1. The Andy Griffith Show is my all time favorite television show. I've seen every black and white episode 20 to 50 times. Probably more.

2. I gave birth at the age of 41. Not by choice I might add, but by some magical/mystical/insane miracle.

3. I love to study and research. I take up subjects and spend hours, months, years studying. My favorite things to study are U.S. Constitutional history, the Bible and the history of societies in biblical times.

4. I wish I could commit to watching television programs. I love American Idol and tend to really like reality shows in general. However, I have a hard time remembering when they're on and making a rock solid commitment to watching. Tonight, with the American Idol finale, I'll part with the only television program I watch. It's a bummer. It seems to be an attention span problem.

5. I'm addicted to vintage ribbon. Cannot use ribbon containing any kind of synthetics. Velvet ribbon must be 100% rayon or silk. I can't even do a rayon/nylon combo.

6. I was an art director for an advertising agency then a freelance graphic designer (my husband had a printing company) for all the years preceding the birth of my first child Luke who is now twelve.

7. Red velvet cake is my favorite, but it must be my mother's recipe. Unfortunately, it is apparently a hard cake to get right because I'm the only person I know, since my mother died, who can make it the way she did. Will swears he's got it down now, but I've not yet witnessed it.

I LOVE this collage. Wow...can't wait to get my paper pack and do one of my own. This is just absolutely lovely!!!! You continue to amaze, woman:)
